Donors & Sponsors
Although 1st Field Regiment Artillery Association is a registered not-for-profit society, it is not a registered charity. The Association does have membership dues meant to cover operations and administrative expenses, the association and its goals are accomplished through some modest fundraising efforts as well as the generosity of donors and sponsors. Your contributions go toward the events, activities and projects planned by the association year over year. Should you wish to donate or sponsor the Association
Donors
Donors are welcome to contribute a cash donation at any time. There are two ways you can choose to donate.
-
General Donation. Individual cash donations to support events and activities of the Association. These donations go directly toward covering events, activities and projects that the Association plans through the year.
-
Benevolent Fund. From time-to-time, the Association discovers that a member of the Regimental Family has hit hard times and needs some support. This could be any circumstance from food insecurity, homelessness or some other hardship. The intent is to have a fund from which the Association can wrap the Regimental Blanket of care around the member. It is not meant to replace veteran supports or other social safety nets. To that end, you can designate your donation as a contribution to the 1st Field Regimental Association Benevolent Fund.
Donations can be made either by e-transfer to novascotiagunners@gmail.com or by cheque to
